Hope For Vision

Each year millions of Americans lose their vision , some become totally blind. When it comes to blindness I think people tend to not think about it at all until someone within their family or circle of friends are affected by it directly.

Tonight Try Change would like to introduce you to Hope For Vision. As stated on their website:

"Hope For Vision is a group of people like you–people who care about the millions going blind; people who want to know about and celebrate the scientific progress and who want to do whatever they can to support the goal of vision. Hope For Vision is your organization. It exists to help you spread the word and raise support"

"According to the most recent National Eye Institute study, the nation loses over $67 billion annually due to the direct and indirect costs of vision loss, which is more than 100 times the annual budget of the National Eye Institute"

At Hopeforvision.org you can learn of the latest scientific breakthroughs that are taking place, fundraising events and volunteer opportunities within their organization.
